Sony has just two new additions to its Xperia XZ flagship family at the IFA 2017. The smartphones are Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact. Besides this, the company has announced another smartphone dubbed as the Xperia A1 Plus.
The rumor mill has been quite active with the aforementioned smartphones from the past few months. Interestingly, most of the speculations made about their specs and features have turned out to be true. However, we expected Sony to unveil to one more smartphone at the event. We are talking about the Xperia X1, which had appeared in leaks a countless number of times.

Sony Xperia XZ1
The Xperia XZ1 features a 5.2-inch full HD HDR display. As for innards, it comes equipped with an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor running at 2.4GHz. The memory aspect is taken care of by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage space.
On the optics front, there lies a 19MP Motion Eye sensor at its rear and a 13MP front-facing selfie shooter. The device packs a 2,700mAH battery for keeping the lights on.
Connectivity suite of the Sony Xperia XZ1 offers support for Bluetooth 5.0, USB 3.1, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, USB Host. Xperia XZ1 offers up to 1Gbps based on Gigabit Class LTE Cat16, depending on the margin.
Most significantly, the smartphone runs on the newly launched Android 8.0 Oreo.
