LG V30 to be released in the US in late September

On August 31, LG will be announcing a brand new high-end smartphone, the V30. However, the handset will (unsurprisingly) not go on sale immediately. According to Android Authority, the LG V30 will be released in the US almost one month after its announcement, on September 28. Interested customers will be able to place pre-orders starting September 17 – presumably via all relevant carriers.

If you live in South Korea, LG’s home country, it looks like you’ll be able to buy the V30 starting September 15. Most likely, the new smartphone will be released in many other regions, including Europe, by the end of the month.

For now, there is no word on how much the LG V30 will cost, but somewhere between $600 and $700 (unlocked / off contract) is probably a good guess.

Unlike the LG V10 and V20 that came before it, the V30 reportedly doesn’t have two displays, instead sporting an OLED screen of around 6 inches. Other expected features include a Snapdragon 835 processor, 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM, an advanced dual camera on the back, and a 3200 mAh battery.

Are you looking forward to seeing exactly what the LG V30 has to offer?
