LG India is set to launch a new smartphone in the market. The company has now started to send media invites for an event on Wednesday, September 27. The event will be happening alongside India Mobile Congress 2017 which is also beginning on the same day.
As far as we know LG will likely introduce a new K-Series smartphone. The launch invite that LG has sent comes with a letter “K” only suggesting that the company will unveil a new K-Series smartphone or smartphones. As per speculations, LG might take the wraps off its new K3 or K4 smartphone on the said day.
If you recall, LG, earlier this year at CES 2017 unveiled four new K-Series smartphones globally. However, till now only two have arrived in India. The two smartphones are LG K8 and LG K10 (2017) editions. Going by what the invite has to say, LG could definitely bring LG K3 or LG K4 or both to the Indian market. We just have to wait few more days. Apart from that, the invite says that Kim Ki Wang Managing Director, LG Electronics India will be present during the event.
However, let’s talk about some of the features and specifications of the upcoming smartphones. We already have the details as it was announced at CES 2017.
LG K3 (2017) comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480×854 pixels) IPS display. The handset is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 SoC. The smartphone offers 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
