iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X were unveiled at the Steve Jobs Theatre at the new Apple Campus in California on Tuesday. Of course, the iPhone X – with its Face ID facial recognition system, an OLED almost bezel-less display, and wireless charging support – is the star of the show but it is, in fact, the iPhone X price in India that is fans are finding a little hard to wrap their heads around. The iPhone X is scheduled to go on sale from November 3 (including India), while the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus will go on sale as soon as September 22 in the US. In India, the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are set to go on sale as soon as September 29, with pre-orders beginning from September 22. This is the quickest iPhone launch in the Indian market, with it being just a week after its US launch.
Considering that the iPhone X will be made available in India with a starting price of Rs. 89,000, it might not be a bad idea to look at some of the earlier generation models that offer good features at affordable prices, especially post the official price cut.

The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus follow the same design language as their predecessors. They sport metal and glass bodies now though, and come in only two storage variants – 64GB and 256GB. The iPhone 8 price in India for the 64GB variant is Rs. 64,000, while the 256GB model costs Rs. 77,000.
