AT&T has a great deal on the Samsung Galaxy Tab E if you’re looking for a budget-friendly Android tablet. The US carrier offers the slate for free, as long as you commit to a new two-year agreement.
Keep in mind that AT&T offers the 8.0-inch version, not the larger 9.6-inch model. Unlike the global variant of the Galaxy Tab E that comes with a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, AT&T’s model is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core Exynos 3475 CPU, coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.
It even has a 5-megapixel primary camera on the back side and another secondary 2-megapixel camera on the front. The 8-inch display features 1280 x 800 pixels resolution.
The massive 5,000 mAh battery promises up to 13 hours of usage time or up to 25 days of standby time. Samsung Galaxy Tab E benefits from GSM network support as well, but Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity are available too.
AT&T doesn’t say whether this is a limited time offer or the Galaxy Tab E will remain available for free on 2-year contracts until it reaches end of life status (EOL).
